John R. (Johnny) Richardson began his insurance career in 1975.

Known for his tireless dedication to his clients, Johnny works diligently to find the right solutions to help individuals, business owners, and institutions meet their financial goals.  He offers access to a broad portfolio of financial products and services and can provide professional guidance with estate, retirement and financial planning strategies; employee benefits; business and compensation planning; and life, health, disability, and long-term care insurance.

An experienced and knowledgeable professional, with a strong commitment to ethical business practices, Johnny has earned the professional designations of – Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), and Accredited Estate Planner (AEP). He is also certified in Long Term Care (CLTC). He is a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) and is the former President of the Atlanta Chapter of the Society of Financial Service Professionals.

Passionate about the needs of those with intellectual and developmental disabilities, Johnny has served on the Board of Directors of the Special Olympics Georgia, and is the former President of the Board of Directors for both the Down Syndrome Association of Atlanta and Parent to Parent of Georgia.

An exercise enthusiast and outdoorsman, Johnny is a member of the Cherokee Town and Country Club. 

Johnny has been married to his wife Angie for 47 years and together they have shared the joy of raising two daughters, Emily and Molly. They are also proud grandparents of two grandchildren.
